Senior Operations Specialist – Asset Servicing

The Senior Operations Specialist within Asset Servicing will be exposed to multiple functions within investment operations providing middle and back office support for our Retail and Institutional clients. The Senior Operations Specialist within Asset Servicing is primarily responsible for all aspects of processing corporate action and Income events, as well as updating Security Reference Data and Security Pricing, all while providing exceptional client service. Critical thinking and independent judgement will be expected as the Senior Specialist completes or approves tasks, investigates or escalates issues and addresses client inquiries. An innovative mindset will be a must while the specialist participates in process improvement initiatives with a focus on controls and increasing efficiency and automation.


  • Process Corporate Action events, including validating event details, transaction entry, and requesting and instructing voluntary elections
  • Setup and maintain security reference data and pricing within Archer’s Global Security Master
  • Execute daily control tasks
  • Identify and resolve complex issues with custodians, banks, and brokers with minimal supervision
  • Respond to various requests from intermediaries in a timely and professional manner
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for core processes and assist with New Hire training, as needed
  • Work with Archer Technology Team to complete root cause analysis on issues and discrepancies and help implement enhancements
  • Assist in firm-wide and or departmental projects, as needed
