Sales Development Representative, Business Development

Archer is seeking a qualified sales development representative (SDR) to identify and connect with potential customers who can benefit from our products and services. The SDR will be first line of communication with prospective customers and must have a strong understanding of the sales process and strong written and verbal communication skills. The candidate will focus on building new relationships and building and managing Archer’s sales pipeline in order to set Account Executives up to successfully close opportunities. The candidate should be a quick learner with an enthusiasm for researching leads, identifying unique business attributes of prospects, proactively reaching out to prospects, and positioning Archer’s solution in a compelling manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent Archer’s tech-enabled service offering, starting with a comprehensive understanding of client’s business challenges and objectives and identify how our solutions meet their needs
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets via email and phone
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps
  • Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook
  • Utilize Salesforce, cold calling, email, and LinkedIn to generate new sales opportunities
  • Identify prospect’s needs based on business goals and challenges, and suggest appropriate service model
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
  • Report to head of marketing with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
