Get to know the Archer team
Meet some of the fast-thinking, hardworking Archer associates who drive our success.
As Head of Relationship Management, I get to work with all of Archer’s clients as well as support my team by helping to facilitate communication internally so they can provide the best client experience to Archer’s clients. I define a successful person as doing something that is fulfilling for them. For me, that’s supporting our clients in increasing their revenue and enjoying interactions with Archer. It also means supporting my team to learn and grow — providing them with what they need on that journey.
As a Business Analyst, I identify opportunities for process improvements to make other teams’ lives easier. Mostly we’re automating processes and building in fail-safe programming. Working at Archer is my first job out of college! I went to Drexel and graduated right into COVID. I originally started at Archer doing Cash Flows, and after a year I started asking for other opportunities. I had already floated some ideas around about our processes and got an interview with our AVP of Business Analysis. This role is a great fit for me – I feel good when I’m producing and providing value.
I oversee the Account Services portion of our Operations team. I manage around 12 people on the team, helping them to streamline processes, support client requests, and address issues and concerns. I stay motivated by my desire to have work done. I’m the same way at home — it bothers me if things aren’t wrapped up and completed at the end of the day. So I always make a list at night — it bugs me otherwise. And when I wake up, those are the things I do first.
As an Account Executive, I assist prospective clients in evaluating Archer as a potential solution to solve problems and help grow their business. Listening, more than telling, and solutioning, more than selling, are key to building the relationships that make my job fulfilling and successful.
Centering myself before a long day is also key. I value living by the ocean and even though I work from home, which doesn’t require a commute, taking a walk before sitting down at my desk helps mentally and physically. So, I start my day by walking to the shore, observing the tide, sounds, and smells, and throwing a stone back in.
I believe empathy goes a long way, especially in our industry. I spent 13 years on the buy side in a variety of roles. Having been in our clients’ shoes makes me able to understand their needs and be a better advocate for them.
I am very big on both mental and physical health. The gym helps me reach my physical goals while my couch allows me to meditate, relax, and regenerate the mind as I prepare for each day.
As a Business Intelligence Analyst on the Finance team, it may sound surprising that the skill I flex the most is thinking creatively outside the box. Usually, people come to me with data proven concepts, and it’s my job to organize the data into a visual presentation that brings their idea to life.
One thing I’ve become very big on is ‘owning’ whatever you do; that doesn’t just pertain to my time here at Archer. How you do one thing should model how you do everything else. See it through, get it done, hustle until it’s complete.
As a liaison between investment management teams and all the different service areas and subject matter experts within Archer, I advocate for our clients, ensuring they are well-served, happy, and satisfied with their Archer experience.
