Meet the Minds Behind Archer
Get to know the Archer team
Meet some of the fast-thinking, hardworking Archer associates who drive our success.
When I first applied at Archer, I did my due diligence. I read about their journey, their growth and what they stand for. I instantly knew this was a place where I could thrive. Initially a Senior Specialist with Reconciliation, I now manage the team.
It’s our job to ensure all accounts are efficiently reconciled and maintained while minimizing risks, and it’s critical that we keep each other informed and motivated. The team, and our clients, rely on me as an escalation contact when things don’t go as expected. I’m familiar with that role; as a cornerback for Ursinus I learned to move fast and to be smart, with constant awareness of everything around me.
When not at work, you’ll find me at home on my couch or at the gym. I am very big on both mental and physical health. The gym helps me reach my physical goals while my couch allows me to meditate, relax and regenerate the mind as I prepare for each day.
This year, I moved from Trade Administration Team, where I focused on UMA model delivery to a Client Platform Specialist. I enjoy bringing a trading background to a more client-facing role and adding to my own experience.
Working hard and playing hard are two virtues I highly value in myself and anyone else in my life. One thing I’ve become very big with is ‘owning’ whatever you do; that doesn’t just pertain to my time here at Archer. How you do one thing should model how you do everything else. See it through, get it done, hustle until it’s complete.
When I’m not at work, I can most likely be found with my wife Laura, our newly born daughter Rosalie, pup Kyla, and my large extended family at the beach in Wildwood Crest.
At Archer, I am a liaison between investment management teams and all the different service areas and subject matter experts within Archer. I am an advocate for investment teams, ensuring they are well-served, happy, and satisfied with their Archer experience.
There are many responsibilities to handle throughout the day, so I stay on my toes and organized; I want to always be prepared to quickly respond to my clients’ needs. My friends call me eagle eyes, a reputation I earned for my intense attention to detail and ability to see things others do not.
After being in pandemic lockdown for a year, I really missed seeing and spending time with everyone; I am so happy things are returning to normal! Now, I am enjoying time with family and friends again and looking forward to meeting my clients – most for the first time – in person.
As Head of Human Resources , I ensure the alignment of our business objectives and talent initiatives. I am a resource to everyone here, and my goal is to help others find the right path to meeting their goals.
I am a goal setter, both professionally and personally. I challenge myself daily to be my best self, including when I run on the Schuylkill River trail, when I kickbox, and when I consult with colleagues. One of my goals is to always be present with others so that our relationship and our business interactions are truly meaningful. So much of what we do in financial services is transactional. I believe we need to connect with each other – and with our work – in a more meaningful way. This constant drive to extract meaning energizes me and adds richness to my day-to-day experiences.
I’ve been a bicycler all of my life, and while my favorite biking trip was through the Provence region of France, I also thoroughly enjoy biking locally. My husband Dave and I think nothing of biking twenty miles around town, making sure there’s a good restaurant at about mile marker ten of our route.
I’m part of the Client Service team, where our goal is to ensure efficient operations across our business partners’ various distribution channels and provide a positive day-to-day experience. The role is fast paced, dynamic, and collaborative – I love working with people who appreciate a challenge.
I believe empathy goes a long way, especially in our industry. I spent 13 years on the buy side in a variety of roles. Having been in our clients’ shoes makes me able to understand their needs and be a better advocate for them. I also live by the Coach John Wooden quote, “It’s the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen.”
If I’m not working, I’m hanging out with two daughters, rooting for Philly sports teams, and enjoying a charcuterie plate and glass of wine with my wife. Ideally – all at the same time!
